Services

Measurement Incorporated is an employee-owned corporation which contracts with state departments of education, other educational agencies, and private businesses to develop and score educational tests. Founded in Durham, North Carolina in 1980 by Dr. Henry H. Scherich, Ph.D., MI specializes in the development and handscoring of essay exams and open-ended performance test items for students in kindergarten through college and at the professional level.

Client services are provided through MI's four main functional service units: Research and Product Development, Writing and Performance Assessment Scoring, Data Processing and Score Reporting, and Printing and Publishing.
